Alright, I just got back from the Of a Revolution show, and quite simply, it blew my mind. Best show I have ever been seen, hands down. Lost my voice and my neck feels like it is the embodiment of soreness. None the less, I had a totaly awesome time.
First, a single acoustic guitarist with a Rebel against the system stoner attitude came out with a drummer to open. This guy's name is Toothpick, and he's just damn good. Awesome melodies and rhyme, simply a great performer. "This song is about conformity. All I have to say on the topic is... **** that". Next came the steel guitarist Robert Randolph and his Family band. They literaly are family, all cousins and borthers. I personally thought that was pretty cool. This performance was life changing, and I will never look at the guitar the same again. Spectacular performer, got the whole crowd pumped and dancing. Next came the headliners. Of a Revolution (OAR), one of my favorite bands (as you can see from my sig) hit the stage. THis performance, was just sublime. The songs were perfectly done, with huge long guitar, piano, drum, and sax solos. After playing for about an hour, they started bringing the other performers on stage, playing as one huge group. Man, great show! I had a blast, and I recomend all of these artists. Anyone here like OAR?
