I agree with Matthew S. Marriage should be a union between a man and a women. That's how it's always been. I don't see a reason to change that.

There are 2 sexes on this earth for a reason. One's got a penis, the other one's got... . Why try to defy nature? How do homosexuals plan to reproduce? What's the point of marriage if you can't have kids?

Man, wtf is happenin these days.................

A percent of the population (around 10 or so last I checked) being homosexual is hardly going to cause reproduction to stop all together and the end of the species. And besides they're going to be homosexual and "defy nature" weather they are allowed to be married or not so your point is pretty much moot. And if they are allowed to be married why can't they just adopt children? There are plenty of hetero couples that can't have children and yet get married anyway and then go that route, however by your rational they shouldn't be allowed to be married because they can't reproduce.

Reproduction has nothing to do with marriage....you don't get married so you can have kids...you get married because you are saying that this person is who you want to spend the rest of your life with.

I will say though that I think since gay couples won't have that natural bonding experience that happens with going through a childbirth together....their chances of divorce are probably higher....in the longrun. Sure they can adopt...but a gay couple having a child might just cause more problems for them....depending on where they live in the states....

Me and my mom were arguing about this earlier. I think it's wrong to deny gay couples adoption. Perfectly hetero families are capable of raising either hetero or homosexual children. My mom thinks that the child would be raised to be gay. How come a perfectly heterosexual person can't be the product of being raised by gay parents? I would be more concerned if the baby/child is being adopted by demon cult followers or terrorists. -_-;;

I know a couple kids that were adopted by homosexuals and they've turned out perfectly normal from what I can see and really don't seem to have any problem with it, other than being teased occasionally (which they learned to deal with early on and don't really let bother them). I don't see any reason why two homosexuals couldn't properly raise a child.
