A prime example of the intellectual level of your average bush supporter.

I can't believe this person is actually 20 years old.

Everett102 : What you have is not an opinion. What you have is propaganda. Just do this for me, give me a list of reasons why you think George W. Bush is a good president, and why you think he deserves another 4 years.

If your only reasoning is because he won't give your tax money(WHICH WILL BE REFUNDED TO YOU BY THE IRS AT THE END OF THE YEAR.) to a woman who is down on her luck, trying to get clean...and needs help because she has a child and can't take care of it.....then you sir, are a sad sad man.

As an impartial voter, I have to say that you both do make strong arguements. Voice, nice expression but I don't think you should try to influence others by telling them to vote for The Democratic party, just my opinion.

One thing that I think is a major flaw with conservatives is that they are very anti welfare, which is in a way ironic. Welfare programs give money to people that need it, and they in turn GIVE the money back to society. The economy these days is dependent upon welfare to keep cashflow. A "cracked out whore thats poppin babies" also has to buy gas (if she indeed has a car)groceries, housing, and clothes. They spend this money and put it back into the economy. Who are we, as people, to claim that these people are lower than the general public? They're so useless to society? The ego of the repulican party is its biggest sometimes just embarrasing. We have money, lets keep our money, lets make more money.

Alright, another point. September 11th was hardcore. Emotionaly devestating, this horrific event caused the economy to go into a recession. This caused people to lose jobs. So a family is out on the street cause of some radical activists and are in desperate need of help. This is just an example of how welfare works and is indeed a neccesity. Our economy was in a recession; so officials lets pull all of the public service money and put it towards a war. If this recession had lasted longer or got worse, it could cause a large depression, having horrible long term effects. "Here comes another Great Depression, lets eliminate welfare and not help the unlucky. "

My point is that anyone can catch an unlucky break. The entire country did, and it took a war (WWII) to bring it out of it. Sound familiar? The recession experienced recently was the largest drop ever recorded, including the stock market crash that triggered the GD.

One spectacular thing about our contry is the WIC program. Single mothers/fathers get food money (not crack money) or stamps to feed their kids. Lets take that away, so every woman that has a kid without a Father should just be condemned to death by starvation. Well, I guess this would limit the numbers and increase the wealth of the higher social classes. People are down on their luck, so that means they're low and should be looked down upon as horrible people. Society kills these weak links; the process is called survival of the fittest. Man moden Darwinism is great.

(Rant over) Believe it or not, I'm not a Democrat. I just hate when people bash the welfare program. I'm all for the war. I like what Bush has done, but keep everything in perspective. Government is for the public. "Of the people, By the people, For the people". Vote for who you want, because that's why this country is great.

I love this country.

I hate our president, that's why I myself, along with thousands upon thousands of other people...DID NOT VOTE FOR GEORGE W. BUSH.

I think I will stay here, and I think I will do what everyone else who has half a brain will do....and NOT VOTE FOR HIM AGAIN....MAYBE THIS TIME MY VOTE WILL ACTUALLY MATTER!!!

Sad thing is, your telling us to leave the country when this coming election will be your first ****ing voting experience. ****ING HILARIOUS!!!!

Keep it up, you are seriously humoring me.

He said he is 20, meaning he has no opinion. He didn't even vote.

The sad fact is PSfan...that he now does have the right to vote....and if he is the example of this next generation of voters....then DAMN...we are in for a long string of SHIT in this country.

It's been said time and time again, it's gotta get worse before it gets better, so maybe that is what's happening.

Rebel: You brought up some really good points, and I agree with alot of what you said about the welfare program. My mother is on SSI, because she is unable to handle the stress of working.....she is manic depressive and a whole load of other problems....

If that program wasn't around, I am pretty sure my mom would be living on the streets of Seattle.

I wasn't saying that people had to vote Democratic, but more along the lines of voting for George Bush is a bad idea....not because he's republican or anything, but because he is George W. Bush...he's a liar, and he's stupid.

You guys havn't seen anything yet. Wait till you see what Bush will do if he wins. What he will do, when a re election is not coming. He can do anything at anytime. The man is ****ing evil. And if he wins the election of 2004 you will see a new low for the United States.

Dang, forgot this little side story.

Last year, in December (I live in Minnesota, so its damn cold) as a project for our ethics class, a few of my classmates and went out downtown. We stayed outside on the street for two days. Sure, it's only two days, but it was honestly one of the hardest things I've gone through. The fact that someone can call ALL homeless people cracked out bums that made their choices and now have to deal with the consequences is just mind boggling. Being alone on the streets is a truly horrendous experience. I can only begin to imagine what some people go through every day.

Did you know that after the Vietnam war, the average ocupation of the returning soldier was... Unemployment. We turned our backs on the returning vets, and they could not get back the jobs that they lost. So after their small checks were cashed, these brave men, risking death and horror for thier country and the glory of freedom, in your mind are horrible people that are lowlife scum, not better than starvation. Pure Ignorance.
