Default My car's in the Auto E.R.!

Waaaahhhh! My car is broken!!! Cruel fate has dropped another bomb on me.

Since I started driving my Talon, I always figured something was wrong with it. Sometimes I would smell burning from my car's engine, and the engine would get a bit louder. Well it stopped for a while, or I just didn't notice it anymore. Of course it got worse over time, and now the car is ****ed now. I was driving my brother and his friend home from school yesterday, and when I got the chance to check the car, smoke was coming from the engine! I called my grandma, and she sent my grandpa over. He checked it out and told me it was the clutch. He suggested that I ease off using it so much (hard to do when I have to brake a lot in this weather, and we have another winter storm on the way).

This morning on my way to school, my car started getting very loud just as I was getting closer to school. My car was struggling to get up the long incline, and it could go no faster than 10 MPH. I said, "To hell with this. ", and decided to get my car off the street. I decided to park it in the nearby vacant lot; I should be glad it made it several feet around the corner, cause it stopped right there. That's right; my clutch burned out completely, and my car was no longer in gear. I got my stuff for class, and started walking to a nearby store so I could use the payphone to call my mom. She was down the street at the bank, thank goodness. Just then, a classmate of mine spotted me, stopped, and offered me a ride to the bank to catch my mom.

Luckily, she was still there, and we went back to my car so she can see for herself. She called our local car shop to see how much it would cost to fix. $700! She then called a tow service and then dropped me off at my college. By now, my poor little Talon's in the shop, and I'm stranded at college until around 2. Seven hundred dollars... I want to cry...

Could always be worse when it comes to cars.

What year is your Talon?

Down with manual.

Sorry about your car, though.

@ Prime

That sucks Lexi.

You have had so much bad luck recently you must be well overdue for something good. Hope it happens soon.
