I have the white one, the 2 Wire 1000S. I told Omega this. He
took one look at it and laughed at me.

He said that it's a tech support nightmare and that I've been screwed by SBC.

I don't care, the white one is actually a piece of shit, but it is easier to setup if you're familiar with routers.

Ok the modem they gave me is the black one that says SpeedStream on it. I don't use any routers. I only have 1 phone line in the house, but 2 jacks. 1 Jack has the filter and phone line on it that goes into the dsl modem. The other jack has a filter on it and a wireless telephone(might be 900 mhz). I tried to chat with customer support but it was a bot so I am hoping omega can help me.

ripper has the same one I have.

I've got a question if anyone can answer it....when I get the network adapter...to hook it up to the DSL connection....could I just get another ethernet cable....and go from the PS2 to the little adapter that plugs into the phone line?

yes, just be sure you register your service before doing so. Do you plan on having more than one computer set up?
