Well.. if anybody in this forum know anythin about cars, i need help, im gettin a used car, Toyota trueno 1986, and the guy who fixed the car told me that he changed the engine , i looked at the engine it said L4 - DOHC or sumthin like that, anyway, i told my friends, they think im lyin because an engine like that one cant be stored into a car like this cuz the car cant take it, i dunno if there right or wrong, but they must be full of shit.

did u buy this car in japan? because there is no trueno in the us.

edit: didnt know ur in canada, but i dont think canada got the "trueno" either.

800 bux canadian, its not actually a trueno, but i saw a car that says 1986 trueno that look exactly like it, this one doesn't say trueno, it only says toyota.

a common swap for that car is a motor from a Toyota MR2 turbo

the guy i bought it from , said that he changed the engine, i dunno what type of engine he put in, but when i looked at it , it said sumthin like l4 dohc, sumthin like dat i think , or maybe the car is jus full of faq shit, can you guys tell me if the car can handle such engine.

if he bought it from japan the steering wheel should be on the right side of the car.

the car comes stock with a L4 DOHC engine. find the engine code. it should be somewhere on the block. if u find that, u can tell what car it came out of. i think the engine code is 4A-GE and the chassis code is AE86.

I might as well take off the car from the list, but do you guys know any comftroble car i can get for a good price, i want it to be between 1985 till 1989 or 90.

whats the most u can spend?

do u know what DOHC is?

Dual Over Head Cams

that means theres 2 cams in the cylinder heads, instead of one cam in the block.

1990 Ford Mustang LX w/ 5.0

theres tons, it all depends on personnal appeal.
