The Chiefs lick donkey sac. Denver lost by one freakin point the first time they played, and absolutely handed their asses to them the second time they played. KC is overrated, and Denver, until recently, has been underrated. Now people are starting to see that Denver means business, and in fact Phil Simms stated that Denver is the team you DON'T want to tango with in the playoffs. I think he's dead right about that.

Woot!!! Cowboys are in! I had no expectations for this team and the begining of the year and now they're in the playoffs. I'm not expecting a long playoff run, but dammit, they're in.

this final weekend is going to be fun...with the recent signing of Neil Odonell (although he was a titan before), has just signed the death warrant for the titans super bowl hopes. if they do somehow make it to the super bowl, he will find a way to throw it away for them.

GO BENGALS GO BENGALS GO BENGALS! thats right, if the bengals beat the browns (very likely to happen), that means the pitt balt game has HUGE meaning. Pitt ALWAYS plays balt hard, especially in balt. If pitt wins, balt is out, cincy is in. GO BENGALS!

I guess if pitt has to ruin its draft by winning the last two, might as well keep jamal lewis from the single season rushing record, and hopefully under 2000 for the season as well...and spoiling the ratbirds playoff hopes would help ease the pain of a 7-9 season.

Even tho Indy lost, don't count them out. Denver, Indy, Tenn, are all threats out of the AFC. The NFC is much simplier. The Rams are the team to beat...but IF they get in, the team to watch out for is green bay. farve now has something extra to play for and showed it on monday night. 311 yards 4 tds in the first half!

Oh, Indy is a great team. Denver just played a hell of a game against them and managed to hold on to the ball for more than 45 minutes. It's hard for any team, even the Colts, to rack up enough points to beat Denver when you don't even have the ball for one entire quarter.

Denver will most likely end up playing Indy in the first week of the playoffs, AT Indy again, so we'll see another showdown. I think it will be a much closer game this time around.

How do you list threats out of the AFC and not include New England, who are playing the best ball of anyone right now? They've already beat all the "threats" you listed. They may not have a great offense, but they always seem to do enough to win games, and that D is great. Plus they have the best coach and that always helps. It's gonna be though for teams to win games in New England with the cold and possible snow. They're starting to remind me of the Ohio State team of last year, all they seem to do is win.

In the NFC I'd say that whoever gets home field between St. Louis and Philly (and it's looking like St. Louis now) will make it to the SB. I know I though it would be Philly earlier in the thread, but that's when it looked like they were gonna cruise to home field. Now I'm not so sure. The Rams are tough to beat in the Dome with all that speed, but I'm also not totally sold on Bulger in a big playoff game especially against a good defensive backfield like Philly has. We'll see.
