This was by far the best movie to come out thise year.

Tommy Lee Jones is brilliant, and Ron Howard is an amazing direction....cate blanchett wasn't too shabby herself.

Had some awesome action scenes in it.

Be sure to empty your bladder before you go in, it's hittin the two and a half hour mark and you don't want to miss ANYTHING.

this get two thumbs up from me.

(plus...i got to see the preview to Hellboy....and OH BOY!!! Looks AWESOME!)

well I just saw master and commander....so uh...it's not the best movie so far.

That's more like it, I thought Master and Commander was a great movie. I'd rank Kill Bill, Seabiscuit, and Mystic River slightly ahead of it in terms of best movie this year though.

I enjoyed Kill Bill more as a whole, but I think Master and Commander was a better movie, if that makes sense....

I didn't see mystic river or seabiscuit.

But also to me, Ron Howard can do no wrong, and neither can Tommy Lee Jones, so you put the two together, and it's great. And seeing Val Kilmer do such a minor role in a big movie like this, is strange, but refreshing. Especially since his minor role was really well done, and very neccessary.

Seabiscuit was good if you like sports movies, which I do, and Mystic River was just flat out brilliant. Well acted and it had a great story. Definatly worthy of all the great reviews it's received.

And I don't know if everything Ron Howard has done is great but he's certainly done some good work recently. I thought The Missing was a GOOD movie, just not a GREAT one.

I was watching Ron Howard on Conan a few nights ago, and the movie looked pretty good, but I didn't get a chance to see it yet. What do you guys think would be the best movie to see in the theatres next friday?
