Good Graphics Cards???

OK i was never really that big on computer gaming. But there are alot of games coming out that I want to play. Is there a graphics card that you guys would recomend, that isn't to pricey, but is pretty good. Something in the 200 to 300 dollar range?

I know there is a few things i need to upfdate first. Heres my computer info.

1.4 gigs
248 MB of ram
75 gigs of space

Like shirt said Ti4600 but check out www.ebay.com you can get a brand new one there for a cheaper price.
