Tool - best drummer I've seen with my own eyes, plus they concluded with Disposition - Reflection - Triads back to back without any interruptions, and Triads featured 2 drummers.

Tied with Radiohead in Montreal last year. They played one song on crowd request because they misheard what some were screaming (at a 20k head count, that's surprising) - and we had 3 encores. Plus, Kid Koala opened, and he was neat for a 15 year old kid.

I haven't been to a concert in about 10 years.

The best I've been to is Sawyer Brown - in Lewistown MT. Not that I REALLY like their music (it's okay, but not my favorite). You just don't get much for options in north central Montana.

The county (not Country, but county) I grew up in had a population density of approximately one person per square mile... The biggest town in the county had less than 10,000 people.

Not many big-name bands are willing to perform in places like that.

To give you some idea, last years STATE FAIR (in Great Falls, population 55,000) had Bryan Adams! Woo Hoo. Although, to be fair, Smash Mouth did play here too.

Chimera, Boiler Room, Nonpoint, and Spineshank at (now defunct) Moose's Music Hall. 6 hours worth of music for $5 and some beer. All the bands were really good that night.

Damn you. I'm jealous.
I got screwed out of seeing 'em at Ozzfest two years ago since they only played on the last half of the tour.
They're the best band I haven't seen live yet.

I can't really choose one...but it's one of these three:

DMB at Soldier Field. Yeah, **** you guys, Dave owns you

Tool at the United Center. What else an be said? Amazing show. When they played Stinkfist it was ****ing amazing.

Ozzfest last year. Down, Meshuggah, Hatebreed, Mushroomhead, Switched, Chevelle, Lostprophets, Glassjaw, SOAD, and Zombie.
What a ****ing line-up.

One of those may be gone after May 3rd though. Disturbed, Taproot, and Chevelle at the Aragon(small venue) should be ****ing nuts, especially since it's the last show of the tour, and two of the bands are from Chicago.
Both other time I've seen Disturbed they were godly. Taproot sucked at Ozzfest '01, but a few months ago I saw 'em again with Mudvayne and they were amazing, so we'll see.
