Well even is Imperialism with US starts out on Iraq it will not be all bad. Like Prime mentioned it would be for a humanitarian reason. As well as would US make money on the stone age land and they would still sell to France and all of Europe the Oil.
Why bush will not attack North Korea is because China is it's friend thought yes the US provides for China while North Korea just sucks it's economy China wouldn't want a conflict.

A war with korea would kill an estimated 1,000,000 people not counting civilians =/ *and thats not even if they launched a nuke, nuclear war could drop 40+ mill with both our capabilities*

Wow, I wish I could have found this thread earlier.
To tell you the truth it makes me sick to see on TV all of the protest against the war. Do these people not understand what Sadaam has done and is doing? Has anyone ever heard of the torture method called the "Flower"? In case you haven't I will explain. Starting at your ankles they make an incision all the way around you leg. Then they start to peel back your skin until it comes up and around your head. It may seem unbelieveable but you can stay alive through the entire process. That is just one of the many things that go on under Sadaam's rule. Now, do I think that he poses a direct threat to the US if we don't go to war? No. But as mentioned earlier in the thread, he could very easily give money to terrorist groups or even give them weapons. I seriously don't think that Bush is pushing for a war mainly because of oil. I believe that he really thinks that Sadaam needs to be put out of power because of the threat he posses to the world. As the most powerful nation in the world it is our responsibility to try and protect people that are being persecuted unjustly. As for north korea, they might have nukes, but they aren't going to use them. Most people don't realize whats going on this very moment over there. I garuntee you that there are a least 2 trident subs very close to N Korea. Who cares if korea has the biggest sub fleet in the world (and I'm not even sure if that is accurate)? The likely hood of a nuclear missile, if launched, hitting us soil is soooooo slim that its not worth worrying about. The second it was launched the US Navy would detect it and shoot it out of the sky. Then the trident subs would blow N Korea off the face of the planet. Its that simple. I am not trying to be arrogant or anything, but people don't realize the technology that our military has. This is great, I'm glad I found this thread, its good to hear other people's opinions. ![]()
