Nice forum!! A few questions though (this could be the official question thread?)

These threads are looking..........different. It's pretty cool. It keeps a bit of the old (not old blue, the one we just had), while giving something new. But it's odd how I had to re-register for the Beta forum. Is this just a test forum, or is it now officially the new forum? Will we be given our old post counts back? And will everybody have to re-register? And last but not least, what about previous threads that were going along really well??? ('The Longest Thread Ever' in the hangout forum comes to mind). Thanks for answering my question Arnold, or any other mod that has the answers to my questions. I'm sure others share my curiosity as well.

Well I'm not a mod (for some reason), but I think I can answer a few of your questions:

Is this just a test forum, or is it now officially the new forum? - I think this is it, everyone's certainly acting like it is.

Will we be given our old post counts back? - Snake said on the old forum 'Post counts will be rounded off and kept updated for the new forum.' So there you go.

And will everybody have to re-register? - Once everyone's registered for this forum it should be it.

what about previous threads that were going along really well??? - I don't think there's any way to transfer them across from the old forum to vBulletin. I think there are programs that can transfer posts across various forum formats, but probably not for the old forum.

Those are my official answers, anyway. Doesn't mean they're correct though

Arnold i don't think you need to waste you time with post counts. I mean if you want ok but i personally come to this forum not for post counts, just to have some nice and fun conversation with other memebrs. We'll all just start over but if you will bring them back then just IM if you need some help.

BTW I think i should mention this, if anyone encounters an Error just PM or e-mail an Admin, most likely Arnold.

Maybe you could set it up so that the post counter is in the profile info. That way it is still there but not right in front. People tend to post a lot of crap to make themselves feel cooler.

Also Arnold (aka Snake) you mention avatars. How do we do that? I didn't see any option to put one on. If you don't do it then that's cool, just thought I'd ask.

Glad the board is back up and think it is looking better than the old board but still the same.
