right now it's pretty stock. The engine is a 350 bored over .030 with a radical cam. I have a quadrajet carb. I still have stock exhaust and no headers, so those are the first things I want to change.

Yea, start the Mazda revolution. As for rotary engines, they are high maitenance when something needs to be replaced...
