LOL...
My setup is way more complicated but I snatched this from a post at another site that is the most basic and easy explination of a easy http server I have found and it's free. Here we go: 1. Download the Apache "HTTP Server" from http://apache.mirror.digitalspace.ne...x86-no_ssl.msi 2. Install. This short guide will be based off the default install options/directory. 3. Click "Next". 4. Choose "I accept..." and then click "Next". 5. Click "Next". 6. Leave all these blanks as the default. Make sure "for All Users, on port 80..." is selected. Then click "Next". 7. Install with "Typical" options. Then click "Next". 8. Click "Next". 9. Click "Install". 10. Click "Finish"! Apache is now installed and running! Put anything you want to host in your C Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs You are good to go then! To access from the web, the address will be something like http://99.99.99.99/image.jpg Instead of the 9's, you will put in your own IP address. To get your IP address, go to "Start", "Run", and type "cmd". Once the "DOS" window opens, type "ipconfig /all". Your IP should then be listed. ![]() |

I just use IIS 5.1 an MSSQL
My site is an NES fan site, but I hope to make it much more professional than the rest, with competent reviews and editorials on classic NES gaming. I want to expand to more systems, but I have 600+ games for the NES, so I'll just start with that.
