Default New Video Card!

I need a new one for so many reasons. One of them is I got Star Wars Galaxies beta and my built in chipset's video card eats it. Cant even play the damn game.

I have about $100- to spend.

Also I dont have a AGP slot just some PCI slots. So that limits me a bit.

I was thinking about:
GeForce FX 5200 Video Card, PCI, 128MB DDR - $99.99

Any suggestions or comments on my suggestion?

You don't have many options in the PCI segment. What you have chosen looks like a very good card considering you only have PCI availible.

Yeah, me too, Prime. I want a really good card, but I have a HP Pavilion with a crappy Pro Savage built in the motherboard, with nothing but PCI slots. BLARGH! I'm skr00ed!

Well you can still get a pretty good 64mb PCI card and then disable the videocard on your motherboard through the BIOS.

Hmmm... i never knew they made 128mb PCI cards especially an FX card.

No AGP....best luck is a PCI GForce 3 or 4. Myself, I have a 9800 PRO.

So true but they are still better then the TNT cards which most people upgrade from.

But hey they are supposed to be "pitiful" since they made for a cheap price. I mean come on not everyone can afford a Ti4600, Radeon 9700 & 9800, etc...
