Your Feelings About Rap Music?
OK this is not meant to start a flame war. I'm just wandering how you guys feel about the genre. Personally ive got a real dark spot inside me for Rap. I have never ever gotten into it.

I like some of the older stuff quite a bit, but other than Eminem I can't stand most current rap music.

rap is turnin into shit. babes, money, cars, thugs <- all this genre is about.
every ****ing song sonds the same, every ****in video looks the same, every ****in rap is song is about tight asses, fancy rides - 0 originality, 0 creativity.. damn, fifty & m are the shit. |

I know that I'm going to be hated for saying this but I do love rap. I've been listening to it for a long time and it's still my favorite kind of music.

Rap music is, for the most part, ridiculous. I don't care what kind of shoes you're wearing, how you get down with your 'ho's', how dank your weed is, or how many people you've killed.
Every now and then, a rap artist comes out with a song that actually has a message, or at least doesn't send the wrong kind of message- that life is nothing more than off'ing your neighbors and screwing their women while smoking dope. However, this is rare. |

I'll put it like this: Rappers are ****ing morons and I hate where the genre is going. But, if a song has a "tight" beat, I'll listen to it.
