Default DVD Movies...buy or rent?

Just curious, do you buy or rent DVDs?

Its odd how I used to think that there is no point to buy a VHS movie, since I'll only watch it once. With DVDs, don't you just want to BUY it?...even though I'll probably watch it once as well

Yeah it's because when you buy the DVD you get all these features and extra which you never in your life time watch but it's nice to have for a collection.

Neither. We know somebody who buys loads of DVD's, so we just borrow them off him for a few weeks

The only DVD's owned by anybody in our house are "Fellowship of the Ring" and "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone", neither of which are mine. I would imagine the only new DVD's we actually purchase in future will be the next two LOTR's and all the Harry Potter's. A very small collection, but all quality titles..

I've bought a few, but mostly I just used Netflix to rent them, something that I'd highly recommend, it's great.

Is two smacks enough or maybe you need another two. Calm down sargent they are only movies. You must hold that urge inside you and then release it without buying the DVD.
But yes DVD buying is addictive to many.

Well....as soon as I got my PS2. I have gone DVD nuts. I buy about 4 every 2 weeks. I got about 65 DVDs now, some are box sets (24, Band of Brothers, Die Hard...so many more) It will keep on going.....just renting DVDs is no option. I don't buy crap, just amazing movies that I always want to watch. I won't even talk about my DVD porn collection (lol...just kidding...or am I???!)
