I'll be getting this game on friday and Ive seen this unlock HD mode code: L1,L2,L3,O,[] anytime before the "Sony Computer Entertainment" screen, now does this do what you'd expect it to do when playing it on a PS3 or does it mean somthing else cos the thought of GOW2 in HD gets me very giddy. thanks

am considering GOW2, tho Spideys out next week on PS3.. Hmmmmm

yeh, i know it does.. but like i say, im in new console mode. when i get that out of my system i will go back. but also i want to make 100% sure that the emu firmware is running 100% a-ok on GOW2!

FFXII isnt too pretty, in fact i cant play it! 30 hours in to it and Ive had to stop now im playing on PS3. so oblivion is getting my RPG time at the mo.

No, it's just a higher res version of the game. It's still running in 480p @640x448.

And to add insult to injury, not even this is available to you or Koth, because the PAL version doesn't have it. SCEE says that God of War II already completely maxed the disc capacity for the NTSC version, and they had to axe this part of the game to make room for the French, Italian, German, and Spanish voice tracks.

So you guys got boned again, sorry mate.

Ours might have took more disc space still being that PAL is 625x576, thanks for the info tho Ryan bummer as it is, played through the 1st one this week for a recap and I enjoyed it more than my PS3 games, it ran fine on PS3 aswell not even any cockups on the cut-scenes as sony sugested on the BC web page
