I think all the chests are in the first chapter. Once you leave Rabenastre you should be fine. I think I screwed it up too.

How do I get the Espers? Are they on the licence board? I know they supposedly aren't much good but I want them for completeness.

I kicked his arse but I was a bit surprised to find I couldn't change party members mid battle because he targets all your characters together. I should have tried to steal from him but I didn't remember to.

You only need to get him down to 25% energy Dillon. Kill the judges around him first then focus on him.

The guards you meet on the way should help you evel up a bit if you are struggling.

You'll come across some as part of the game's main plot. After beating them, they appear on previously unseen parts of the License board. The others are optional; you have to find them and defeat them. I'd suggest using a FAQ or guide for their locations...the last two (Ultima and Zodiark) are extraordinarily difficult, as they're in extremely tough places just to get to.

no, not yet.. but im on the ship already. I take it that the quickenings are part of the license? maybe i shoudl go and see if i can unlock it soon then?

YES. The sooner the better. They usually reside in corners. You're allowed three Quickenings per character, and I'd suggest getting them as quickly as possible. The longer you wait to get them, the less effective they'll be. When you get at least two, return here and I'll post up a quick tutorial on 'em.

ah, so if i try to go for the licenses at the upper right and try to unlock then towards the corners, see if i can unlock it.

I must admit, i should of levelled up a lil more than i have before reaching this point!

wont get a chance to have a go tonight, BG is playing Sonic on the Wii.. lol, im not going to get a look in!

but i will tomorrow, i'll try and level up more, and get those quickenings, cheers
