Ok, I know this is an old game, but I love it nonetheless. I bought Die Hard Trilogy for PS1 off ebay (I had it a long time ago, but it got stolen). I still own the Cobra light gun for it. But now I', trying to play the game on a PS2 and when I try to use the light gun to play Die Hard Trilogy it doesn't work. The light gun's lights still flash red when it is connected, so that part of it works, but when I press Start or the trigger on the gun nothing happens and I can't play the game (except with a normal controller, which is NOT fun).

Is the gun not PS2 compatible? Or do you think maybe the gun needs to be thrown out and I should invest in a new one? I've tried finding information about this on the Net, but I've come up blank. I want to play old skool Die Hard!

I can not provide a difinitive answer but I think that the gun is NOT compatible with the PS2.

I hope someone else can give a more certain response.

I'm really just guessing but you might have to buy a PS2 model light gun, I'm pretty sure Madcatz made one, but I'm no expert.

Oh, and I'm looking for some light guns on ebay, in case anyone was interested. So hopefully I'll be able to play Die Hard Trilogy next week. Yay!

Die Hard Trilogy and NBA Jam Extreme were really the only games I used to play on my PS1. Ah, those were the days...

all i had 4 my ps1 was driver1&2 those games where so fun untill i got my ps2 after that i havent played them sens

i think Driver 1 is coming on PSP.. cant wait to play that again! loved that game sooo much, was superb in its day!
