Can You Name The Game?

Somebody on another forum is asking for help naming a game he's seen on US TV commercials, so for obvious reasons I haven't a clue what it is, even with the few extra details he can provide. They said:

I am trying to think of a video game. I can only remember a few things about it, so please try to help me out here.

- I am 90% sure that it is a computer game. It might also be a Playstation 2, X-Box, or Gamecube, but I am mostly sure that it was a computer game.
- It's been running commercials lately. I think I saw the commercial for the first time five or so days ago. It's a new game, in other words, and it's probably sorta popular.
- I think it has an old theme to it. It takes place in the Roman Empire or medieval times.
- Now this part I am not positive about: you either build/control a city (like SimCity), or you command an army, or both. Lol.

I am 100% serious, and this is all I know about the game. Could anyone who knows anything give me a complete list of any of the possibilities that it could be? Even if you are only 40% sure that it could be the game you are thinking about, could you please mention it? Just hearing the name will probably spark something with me.

Anybody here able to identify it? Any helpful suggestions will be appreciated..

Age of Mythology? Though i haven't seen any commercials for it.

Empire Earth. The new expansion pack is Empire Earth: The Art of Conquest. Empire Earth Gold is due out in march.

I've passed those suggestions along and apparently both sound familiar, so hopefully one of them is the game in question. Thanks for your help guys, I appreciate it.

i never said there was anything wrong with PC gaming. i love it and wish i had money for abour 5 PC games right now.
