Final Fantasy 9

aight, i'm on Disc 4 right before you go into Memoria...but what i want to know is, where are some of the best places to fight and level your characters up?? cuz i'm tryna build them up some more. AND....how do u get Zidane's "Ultima Weapon"??? (i think thats what its called) in the strategy guide its says somthing about sprinkling "Black Pepper" somewhere....but the the hell is black pepper and where do i get it from????

As for leveling up, just wander around the plains outside of Daguerro, and use Quina's Lvl 5 Death technique to instantly kill grand dragons. Each one gives you 32,000exp. It's by far the easiest way to level up.

so you dont know anything about the black pepper, or gettin Zidane's final weapon??

If I remember correctly the Black Pepper and Zidane's final weapon were Chocobo related. You had to get the deep sea Chocobo (or maybe the final Chocobo), and get the Chocograph that shows nothing but deep sea. Then you find the location on the world map (right in the centre of the map I think) and feed your Chocobo the Black Pepper. It will then dive down and find the treasure, which is Zidane's ultimate weapon.

Bear in mind though that I can only partly remember all this, so some of might not be relevant, or mixed up with other info. For more reliable help you can try here, it's the Final Fantasy IX section of GameFAQs.com. Look for titles referring to Chocobo's, Items or Weapons, or look through the general walkthroughs.

Hopefully you'll find the advice you're after, but if not then post about it here again and I'll try and find some more info for you.
