tomb raider chronicles,help

im stuck in the russian base,first level,where the container hoist dropes on you,i dont know where to go next.how do i get into the control room to take out that bastid in there?

jump on top of the boxes and go to the left, watch out for the claw. then jump off into the hallway ,there should be a door that u can open to shoot the guy at the controls.
