Default GBA opinions

Okay, Now that I have a job, I'll be recieving about $170 every two weeks.
After paying for prom and a tux, I'll have enough left over from this check (i think) to buy a new Gameboy.
I'm thinking (If I'm lucky) I will have enough for 2 options.
A normal GameBoy Advance, and a new game, or a GameBoy Advance SP, and no game (I have old GB/GBC games to hold me over a little while)
Unless I can sell my GBC to my friend Matt, those are my only two options. Any opinions?
And if you want, suggest a first GBA game for me, why doncha.

Get the GBA:SP. You can still play your old GB & GBC games on it. Trust me the GBA:SP is sooooooo much better. The light makes a huge difference and an extra $30 is worth it. Plus it's rechargable so no more buying batteries and such.

The battery thing was a major point of interest to me. I hate replacing AA batteries, cause I always need them for other things, like my discman, and I never have them when I need them.
And I'm talking to Matt now, and he's still interested in buying my old GBC and 6 old games (Mortal Kombat 2, Donkey Kong Land 2, NBA Jam, Grand Theft Auto, Super Mario Land, and Tetris 2)
I'm keeping Metal Gear Solid and Donkey Kong (the one that's like the old arcade game)
So, any suggs on a game, Dmitry?
