Is there really FF7-2?

Good day people, im Garry from Philippines. I just wanna ask is it really that FF7-2 will be on PS2? Does anyone know when will it be release? and does anyone know any website where i can see about FF7-2? Thanks. by the way, let me ask about FFX-2 too, will FFX-2 have to kinds of language? English and Japanese, or just Japanese? I really hope that it will compose of 2 languages, and dont release a international version like FFX international, coz it will let me cost lot of money only hehehe =D

I have been hearing about it on several sites I visited. However, I won't believe it until Squaresoft says so. If there was a FF7-2, that would make me the happiest person in the world since I love FFVII.

But, if Square would want to remake FFVII on PS2 with FFX type graphics, that would be just fine too.

yeah, they talked about this on one of the shows on G4.. I am pretty sure they said it was confirmed.. They are making a sequel to FF7 and FF8.

I don't have that channel in my area so I'm not really sure. Well, I guess that it might be coming, but Squaresoft did say that anytime they have a new game coming out, they'll reveal at a conference.

I'm one of the few who isn't looking forward to FFX-2 so if there is the idea of FFVII-2 and it turned out to be even remotely like FFX-2 then someone needs to go and give the suits a Square a server beating. Just my two pennies.

I personally don't think I'll forgive Square if they do come out with FFVII-2. There's absolutely no need for it, everything that needed to be covered was covered in the game. The only reason they'd do it is because they know how popular VII is and want to cash in on it, and that's just wrong. As I've said before a remake of VII would be nice, there were a lot of translation issues with VII and it would be nice to play the game with a proper translation. But no sequel, absolutely not.

I'm actually looking forward to FFX-2 but I have one problem with it, I don't want the game to be too control like Tomb Raider.

Thanks barret wallance, coz i love to play FF to starting from 7 to 10, but not 11.. it sucks. Even if i havent finish 7 and 9, i still know the game =) By the way.. i just so a post here that FF8 will have a Sequel too?!?!?! i know FF7 will have a sequel FF7-2, but there will have FF8-2 too???? the person who said about ff8 sequel, where did u see about this news???
About FFX-2, i agree what u said too wallance.. i dont like too many control like tomb raider too =) but it is nice that their like Sailormoon that they can transform hehehehe...

And their themesongs is very nice too.. especially the Real Emotion =)
