Too many patches. I believe my game right now is around 10 gigs worth of data. You could put all of that onto a BD, but what will happen when they release another expansion?

I need to get away from this, I want to. But it's not going to happen. Haven't even played my PS3 in months because of it. I'm so behind on games because I cannot pull myself away from it.
It's too damn addicting.

.
They'd just do what they did with FFXI when they ported it to the 360 years later. All those patches could easily be optimized, condensed and coded right into the actual game disc. There's no reason they couldn't do WoW on either 360 or PS3 if they wanted to, but given that they're literally making billions a year just on subscription fees, they're probably pretty content to let the money role in and work on their other properties.

Anyway, I started playing Halo CE on PC tonight, since I just found my disc again (misplaced it in the move). Game takes a bit to get it running right (problem with the pixel shaders) but after that it's friggin awesome, every bit as good as the Xbox version, only better looking and with ONLINE MULTIPLAYER, which is awesome since the first game still probably has the best maps out of all the games.

I was addicted a long time too, but got really burned out on it. I sold my acct while it was still possible and made some decent bucks. Met some nice peeps though...

I know Everquest is heading to the PS3, so maybe I will just have to enjoy that instead.. and of course DC heroes or whatever its called is coming.

you know for all the console wars and the fanboys skirmishes etc etc... if they brought out Halo 3 or 4 for the PS3 I would buy it. I have the first one on PC, but never really got in to it. Halo 3 I think I would like very much... mainly because of that video recorder thing, which is a great idea. Im surprised that more FPS's dont have that feature, seeing as its in a few other games these days.

Of course Everquest is going to make it to PS3 at some point; it's a Sony property, and a popular one at that.

Halo 3 has a lot of awesome things that other FPS games should have and don't. The ability to record and upload videos and pics of matches and share them through Live, four player online co op, but mostly Forge. Forge is friggin' ownage.

As for Halo CE on PC, it's lacking the best feature about the Xbox version, that being the co op (and I still maintain that the original Halo CE co op is still, to this day, leaps and bounds better than any other co op experience ever), but it's still friggin awesome.

Nope. Resistance co-op sounds badass if done right, but from what I read it didn't really make use of what the game had to offer. I could see a co op in that game where you have to use weapons in tandem being a seriously awesome thing that has never been done before, but R2's co op sounds a lot like some of the older, more generic Ghost Recon co op stuff.

it was a shame.. it could of been amazing.

R2 (for me) turned weak rather quickly after the single player game.

I do wonder if the hints at a kZ CoOp is true, that could be amazing, seeing as you do the whole game in some sort of squad (pretty much)...
