I'm about 8 hours in so far and I would rate it on what I've seen about a... 8 - 8.5.

I've yet to get to the meat of the story been doing extra side missions and exploring its world map system. The battle system is fantastic to me and very much a mixture of Valkyria Chronicles, Valkrie Profile and Radiata Stories. Boss battles are very difficult though and you will most likely be dieing a lot unless you train. Good thing you get a battle arena. XD

The best installment was Snake Eater, IMO, because it really stripped away a lot of that excess baggage and focused on a simple, but powerful, story.
I agree, although I can't speak to the story telling in MGS as I've never played a MGS game. But I would put the story telling of GoW over that of Uncharted, probably just because GoW has so much more scale. Greek mythology is a pretty wide topic and the GoW trilogy probably scratched the surface at most. Playing them has certainly piqued my interest in Greek mythology.

Just surprised that you've never played an MGS game before, especially since MGS4 is, IMO, one of the few 'absolute must play' games on the PS3.

Yeah, I've heard it's pretty challenging. Man, I can't wait to play it. Battle arenas and costume customization are like crack for me.

I agree , the only thing missing in that game is trophy support . MGS4 is so good , you'll love it despite some of the melodrama and Big Mamma's awkward cleavage .

This is an awesome and appropriate typo since 'mamma' (as opposed to 'mama') is the anatomical term for breast. So you basically called Big Mama "Big Boobies"
