Ultimately I'd like to see zero compromise with gaming storage BUT I will concede that it would be better to lose a little sound quality rather than compressed video, especially as Sunny said, there is only a small percentage of high sound system gamers.

It would have to be an awful lot of audio though, wouldn't it? Even for a verbose franchise like MGS it seems a bit much, even uncompressed.

One theory I'd heard bandied about was that it might be going the same route Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted apparently did, using HD video of in-game sequences to disguise loading times, which would obviously fill things up quite quickly.

The way I see it, the idea of forums is to voice your opinion and as long as it wasnt offensive towards anyone then it should stay, I read that before it was edited and i didnt see anything wrong with it...!!

To answer your 'criticism' there are LOTS of GREAT developers who use hyperbole, and while Kojima is easily my favorite developer of all time, there's no way he's using up 50+ GB of data even with completely uncompressed audio.

If you want to believe he's telling the truth, that's fine, but calling other members names because they disagree with you isn't cool, it isn't adult, and I'll moderate it every time.

If you can't post without insulting people, don't post. It's not like this is the first time you've been warned, and we both know you've had your forum privileges suspended more than once for your behavior, so don't play the martyr card with me, young man.

You also have to remember that it could've been mistranslated or somewhat taken out of context. I'm simply assuming that Kojima said that Blu-Ray wasn't enough, because as a developper, he always wants more. I just see it as him trying to squeeze all that he can out of the hardware he's working on, which is what he usually does anyway.
