I have to say.. im really impressed. i can see why Capcom are very proud of this. I was thinking when they first annonced it that i wasnt too happy.

after loosing a possible PS3 monster Hunter (WTF??!?!) to the flipping Wii (WTF??!?!), i was ready to really go off Capcom in a big way.

news of SF4 came out and wasnt that great, not unless youre a die hard SF fan, of which i personally am not. seeing as the only 2D games i really like are Rival schools and Mark of Wolves.. maybe the odd Samurai Showdown too, but never really been a great fan of SF.

the new trailer looked awesome, but we knew the gameplay wouldnt be as cool.. because that would obviously alienate 90% of SF followers.


but i have to say, this new game looks amazing, apparently it plays like a 2D fighter, but looks 3D in gameplay. i dont know if thats true as i havent played it, but even if it is a true 3D game, it just looks great.


anyway, take a look and see what you think, i think it looks pretty good.

Look nice. They improved it in the right areas without taking away from what made streetfighter stand out from the other beatem up games. Parts of the foreground looked destructable but they didn't really show whether it works like that or not.

I always wanted a 3D Street Fighter, then they brought one out and I hated it.. I dont really get on with 2D very much apart from those I mentoned. so I dont know if I will like this either but for different reasons.


personally.. you know that paint brush blur of a teaser trailer that we got? THATS what i want the new street fighter to play like! ..but i honestly think im the only one! lol
