The Benny (Macho)

For those who haven't noticed, PSXE has some theme choices for the site (I found it better to open each one individually in new tabs and view them like they were webpages) and a poll on the main page to select a preference. I do like the overall new design, the wider page and all. I opted for number two in the end because I like the main blue colour used, which reminds me of one of the Wordpress themes or something like Engadget.

What intrigues me though are the member login box and add comment links. Is that a sign of a more blog-like comment structure or closer forum integration?

I also voted for number 2, tho if it were me I would go with the PS3 font rather than the PS2, it feels a little out of date, other than that ifs very fresh imo

Neato. I'm interested in seeing how it shapes up, especially if the member panel area ties into the forum too (or what it's for if it doesn't). I remember the PSXE site used to be fully integrated with the (custom) forum software because they were both ASP based, but once the forum switched to vBulletin the PHP forum was no longer compatible with the site.

Overall I do find it odd that the traffic the site gets doesn't translate into forum posts, when sites that I'd consider comparable or smaller than PSXE generate dozens of comments for every article. Of course, PSXE wouldn't exactly benefit from a string of "LOL no mgs4 for j00 xbots lol" comments anyway.

Guys keep in mind you are not voting for a logo. I hope you guys know that the PSXExtreme logo you see in design 2 will not be used.

I like the colour used in two and the long, single-line headers over three's shorter, double-line ones. Plus I'm not keen on the dark pattern thing on the background of one and three.

Because the original logo we had on that design killed the whole design. I'm sure if you saw that design with the original logo, you wouldn't vote for it.
