hey iam wondering how many people are lagging when playing online.i play everyday and iam getting tired of this lagging, people bouncein all around freeze ups disconections and other stuff. i have a group of people all have the same problems. all of us are on high speed internet so iam not sure what the casuse is???? i do know a few of my other friends have a xbox 360 and they dont have this problem ever????? any feed back on your gaming problems or lack of with ps2 or xbox360 ty

Well, all I can say is I've never experienced any such problems on the Network with the PS3. The only game I ever played online with the PS2 was Hot Shots Golf: Fore!, which never had any lag or freezing issues...but then again, it's not the type of game that would.

Well, it might not (and since you have high speed[Comcast,Verizon, etc], it probably isn't) you. The people you see jumping around might be on slow connections, likewise freezes/disconnections can and often happen because the host is on a connection with minimal bandwidth.

If you have computers setup on your network as well as your gaming system of choice, it's a good idea to end processes that use up a lot of bandwidth.

But then again the PS2 is a more primitive online gaming machine, don't know if maybe the older ones (phat) were more likely to fail than the newer ones (slim).

That's my advice, I'm not exactly an expert, but I hope it helps.

which games are you playing online?
i have played battlefield socom ncaa 05 06 07 08 have a little but it could be the other user. havn't really played much online with ps3 only titles yet except motorstorm and didn't have a prob. with that .
