PSXE Poll re xbox content?

Are you guys considering closing xbn and just having one multiformat website? I think this could work but some people might not think of looking for xbox content on a site called PSXExtreme.

I personally would be ok with the idea as it would stop me having to go from one site to the other.

Yeah, the idea is to move the Xbox content to PSX Extreme and actually make Xbox coverage as good as our PS coverage. Currently we don't put much effort into Xbox Nerds.

We are actually lucky enough to have a name that can incorporate PS and Xbox "PSX" PS=Playstation, X=Xbox.

We are still trying to decide on this, so any feedback on this is appreciated.

seriously tho I do like to know whats going on in the world of Xbox, going between two site is a bit of a pain, tho I can appreciate bringing them together probably isn't all that straight forward.

That is the idea. More importantly we would make Xbox coverage as good in frequency and quality as Playstation coverage. Although I'm not sure why such high percentage of people in the poll are against us adding Xbox content.

yeh, i dont mind it really... i do occasionally go over to the 360 forums and post in places... and look at their reviews compared to the PS3 ones. but i think especially these days where the 360 and the PS3 are so close in some games (ie: Cod) that to have a site that DOESNT COPY AND PASTE REVIEWS on same games with different format would be a splendid thing.

I'm with Val on this one. As for why the poll looks that way, I think we have to remember that a lot of people like the cache of us being a large independent Sony site that focuses on Sony platforms. And just because of the content we provide, we probably have a lot of hardcore Sony fans...

However, I think there are MANY more multiplatform gamers out there than there are die-hard one-platform supporters. Even if we did lose a few of those loyalists here and there, it's my belief that 90% of our readers wouldn't have a problem with Xbox content, and a LOT of other gamers who wouldn't normally visit PSXE finally have a reason to.

I also think it would help to legitimize us even further, although I'd like to think we're plenty legitimate already.

yup, a combined assault on all consoles (maybe wii too) would be a great idea and to meld into one single page.

I need to pick up some newer games so I can get in on reviewing some of them and forwarding it off to you guys.
