I assumed that was the plan. It does require a bit of thinking outside the box to get the Wii in:

I apologise for the roughness of the edits, but it's late and it isn't exactly a serious suggestion. It kind of makes it sound like you have a speech impediment. PSXExtwiime...

But any attempt to shoehorn the Nintendo console's initial into the name would be pointless anyway because they change the name every generation, whereas Sony and Microsoft are committed to their brand names. This time it's W, before it was G (or GC), before that N (or 64?). So it's not worth attempting even if the site did at some point want to add Nintendo content.

to make it clearer though, especially if there's the same colour system in place for news items: blue for Sony and green for Microsoft (black for multi?). Such a colour scheme should ensure the rabid Sony-loving, anti-Microsoft crowd rarely click on an item about the evil Micro$oft.
Did you stea this off PC!? I have exact same mockup of the logo that I made months ago.

BTW, that is pretty darn good job of applying the green color considering you don't have the raw Photoshop file of the logo (or do you?).

PSXExtwiime...haha, that is funny, sounds like 3 year old trying to pronounce our name.

Heh, it was a copy and paste job from the two logos. Apparently the X of Xbox Nerds is pretty much the same size as the one in the PSX logo, so it was just a case of erasing the blue one, sticking the green one in its place, then copying the Extreme part and putting it over the new X. It didn't need any resizing and the backgrounds were both a uniform white so it wasn't too tricky. I've done far more complicated copy/pasting before for even less purpose...

Maybe I missed an announcement of it but I tried to go the XBoxNerds domain for the first time in months. It was the first time I had noticed that there wasn't a direct switch like there used to be. I finally found the damn thing using the 360 cheats link at the bottom of the main page. Did you guys officially stop updating that site? The last news story is from May. Do you have plans of adding in XBox content to PSXextreme?

It definitely seems to be on the backburner. Nerds had already been running in a reduced mode for a while, mostly with news items copied from PSXE, and never became the go-to place for Xbox in the same way that PSXE is for Playstation. Integrating Xbox content into PSXE runs the risk of extra work (mainly for Ben, I don't even know if Arnold has a 360) for little increase in traffic and potentially annoying the Sony faithful. I don't imagine it's something they'll enter into lightly.

As they said earlier on in this thread, it's something that will only happen if and when they're ready to handle it.

We are not updating XN anymore; our entire focus is on PSXE, just so everyone knows. I don't know if this is permanent - that's up to Val - but at this time, that's how things are.
