Piracy Thread Explaination

I already sent a message to Cat about this, but I don't feel comfortable leaving that PSP thread locked like that, making it seem like I was condoning piracy on the forums. Cat may have misinterpretted my post as a real, serious response and instruction for PSP piracy. To explain, someone asked about how to load a pirated game. My responce (trying to be as accurate from memory to what was edited as possible) is as follows:

First you load the file anywhere on the memory card. Next, visit your local EB or Walmart and purchase a UMD titled Burnout Dominator, which will allow your PSP to boot directly to the file. Pop that baby in and it should automatically load!


Also piracy is frowned upon.

You'll have to look elsewhere for the information you seek, this isn't the place for that.

If you notice, it's only joking and mentions to go and buy the game, to load the pirated file. A little redundant to actually buy the game to load the file, and it involves actually purchasing the game. I assumed that was obvious. Also I posted the forum rule about it, and welcomed the member.

I felt I needed to get my explaination out of the way because I felt uncomfortable having it edited in such a way that it looked as though I were breaking the forum rules. Even if no one cares or notices, I'd rather not have myself left that way.

No worries to Cat, I understand if there was a misunderstanding, and if joking about piracy with a purpose other than instruction is part of that rules guideline, then I apologize for taking offence from it.
