Any news on that Bioshock trailer?

So.. is Bioshock 360 only.. or is there any news of it coming to PS3?

Ive tried looking for that trailer, but the only one on SpikeTV that I could find, wouldn’t load for me.. so I don’t know if it said PS3 at the end or not..

Anyone know?

The demo released last night was super slow and stalled at 87%....as for trailers no clue.

Once that Spike Tv ended, MS put up the demo on marketplace lol. I finally got it about 20min ago. Started it, and had to exit it cause it's freaking scary as hell LOL. I'm going to work up the nerve to get back into it. This game is very well done.

Yeah, the "surprise announcement" didn't have anything to do with Bioshock for the PS3. It was that playable demo that's on the Marketplace now.

I'm downloading it right now.
While I've been sold on the game for a long time (oh since System Shock 2) - I can't wait to try it out.

Also, I never once thought it would be a ps3 port announcement for a second. Why would they announce that immediately before the release of the 360/PC release? It wouldn't make any sense at all.

If it happens (and I don't see why it shouldn't in time), expect it when the 360 sales slow down.

Development of Bioshock started out across all platforms, and code of the PS3 version does exist. We probably won't hear an announcement on the PS3 version until January, or so. Basically, not until the holidays are over with.

The demo completely rocked my socks off. I hope it does well at retail (I've always had my doubts). I was anticipating this more than Halo 3, and now I know why:
1) It's scary as hell. You always feel paranoid. The shadows contribute to it greatly (ie you are in a bathroom, walking out, and you catch see the shadow of a running humanoid. You come out and it's nowhere to be found. And it was unscripted). The music is also great.
2) Awesome graphics (the lighting! the water!)
3) Cool powers. In the demo you can set anyone on fire, or shock them.
4) You can hax0r devices. They then join you.
5) Enemies fight themselves if they are different.
6) There's stuff to look at everywhere in the city, which provide great background to the city. This sort of attention to detail make the location feel real. Which is tremendous.
7) Objectivism is depicted as a failure, which irritates hardcore objectivists. And if there's something funnier than irritated objectivists, I don't know what funny means.

As I've stopped my LIVE subs as at 26th August I need to get on now and see what demos I've missed in the 3 months since I last looked

I'll have to download that demo. It sounds great!

But damn...I was almost hoping Bioshock would suck. Now it's just another game I need! Perhaps Heavenly Sword won't be any good........yeah, right. Oh well, even if I can't buy 'em all, there's always Christmas, right guys?
