Finally got around to sink my teeth into this one.

I love it alot. If you're into Deus Ex, Theif, and obviously System Shock games, you will love this. It's one of those FPS that you can play anyway you want, and where encounters with enemies will differ from room to room, and then you throw in the different paths, and different agilities, and you get a pretty replayable game!

It's basically everything those classic games were, and I'm only a couple of hours in.

To be honest, given that I love those types of games so much, and they are so few in between that I would be very well surprised if this game doesn't end up being my favourite of the year, perhaps longer. Thanks, Irrational, for taking the risk to get this out. And do yourselves a favour here and get it as soon as you can.

I'm about 3 hours into it myself, and it really is amazing. It's all about the little stuff they did extremely well: enemy AI, collision detection, learning curve, balance, and overall, the immensely awesome atmosphere and environment. I can't wait to play more; this is bound to be one of those games you'll remember a long time after you've finished.

I know it might come to the PS3 next year, but in all honesty, nobody should wait for that if they have the option to play this masterpiece now on either the 360 or PC. That'd be like waiting for UT3 on the 360 next year when you can play it in November on the PS3 or PC...it just doesn't make much sense, unless you have no choice.

Levine says the ps3 version won't happen. Given that he's one of the most down-to-earth people around the industry, I doubt he's shitting us.

Ok, so the source is joystiq, but the point remains.

Just reported on this. Yeah, I think it's just best to play this game ASAP on either the 360 or PC. It IS that good, and it's not worth it to "wait and see," IMO.

i believe Bill paid rather heavily for this game.. and though i hate this sort of thing, i have to say "Good shout!" lol..

anyway, even if we never get Bio, we have soooo many AAA titles coming our way, how could we possibly fit in all the top gaming

plus im thinking by the time Bioshock2 comes out, the ps3 will have proven itself three or four times over by then, and maybe.. just maybe the PS3 will get that sequel.
