Sony and Incognito

I can't say I'm surprised. Incognito led us (and probably Sony) to believe Warhawk was going to be a super-duper game with fantastic online possibilities and what they are actually giving us is what appears to be a slightly confused and chaotic multiplayer only title.

DK and I were discussing this last night and neither of us will now be getting Warhawk. Not sure how many others feel the same way. This game would have made a fantastic single player game and I cannotfathom why they wouldn't push ahead almost regardless of the time and effort it would take.

I just wanted another Twisted Metal...badly. And if this happens, I have a bad feeling that series is dead. 3 and 4 were horrendous, but 2 was one of my favorite games ever, and Black completely resurrected the franchise on the PS2. I had hoped to see another for this generation.

If the give us the same version of TM you get then it could be good.

While the rumors may be true that Sony isn't terribly happy with Incog right now, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Incog isn't too psyched about the working relationship, either.

I think it was a really dumb decision, however cost effective it was. They're just being lazy with the hope to make the big bucks by something they didn't put nearly enough work into.

The internets last week: Incog is the best developper ever! They are awesome. Warhawk is the best!

The internets this week: Good riddance. Incog was overrated anyway.
