Damn man, that's some super custom set-up I guess I use speakers more than headphones. Music in some games is turned off for me. I guess it really depends if your in a house rather than a Condo/apt for the other people around. If I need to use headphones, I'll do it. I do prefer speakers of course cause when you destroy a 30 car pile up in Crackdown, you need that bass out of the subwoofer to kick it into high gear

Try this experiment:

Alessis crossover/equalizer +12 DB on 15 hz, 20 hz, 25 hz, 30 hz, 35 hz, 40 hz, 45 hz, 50 hz, 60 hz, 70 hz.......+-0 DB 80 hz, 90 hz, - 12 db on all of the rest of the frequency sliders in both the left channel and the right channel and send rca cable output to 15 band eqalizer/mixer and boost 12 db on the 30 hz, 45 hz, 60 hz bands in both channels and CUT! -12 db for the rest of the slider bands.

Then pulgin a cheap headphone to the headphone jack on the mixer/equalizer.

Play your PS3 game.

The result is that with this extreme freq. shape that the headphones will sound like you have a working subwoofer when its just the cheap headphones and for a really impressive sound try lightly pressing the headphones against your ears as the game sounds with base quicks in.
