Default Motorstorm developer comment

According to the developer, they didn't include online play for the Japanese release of Motorstorm because they didn't think they wanted it. That may be true, but I think it would be a much better game if it included off-line multiplayer modes. Are they saying Japanese gamers have no friends? When I found out it was a single player only game, it immediately lost my interest. The same went for Call of Duty when they didn't even bother to put in a co-op mode. It's kind of annoying that they forget about the people who want to play with their friends and family on one console. As a result, they won't be getting any of my money for their incomplete bare-bones games.

I know what you mean. It's like they're trying to encourage you NOT to go round to your mates house. I can go and play split screen co-op with DK at his house but I have to come home if I want to play against him on MS.

The gamers in Japan never even got this option!
