If you think this will stop people like Jack Thompson and Hillary Clinton, you're as insane as they are.

Thompson doesn't attack games because he has a genuine concern over their content, just as he didn't attack rap music for those reasons. Opportunists (and all lawyers and politicians are just that) attack targets of opportunity, not actual concern.

So long as it's profitable to sue game companies and propose anti gaming legislation, nothing will change.

Yeah, Jack Thompson is a crazy old ****er who's in love with the sound of his own voice. I guess this gives the people on the other side of the argument some more ammunition, but really the world at large would be better off just ignoring him because he's not going to stop spouting his nonsense anytime soon.
