RR7 Demo is what I'm talking about.

When I first saw RR on DK's 42" 1080i I thought the backgrounds were great but the cars were nothing to write home about because of the terrible jaggies. Out of curiosity I dl'd the demo and played it on my 20" standard Sony flatscreen and the cars look so much better. I know screen size will come into play but that doesn't change the fact that mine looks better.


Admittedly, it's the only PS3 game for which I can say that...

All I know is I just found out my 53" Sony rear projection accepts 1080i after all this time of having no idea, and I love it.

Great news .

Only having the RR demo I can't see if it's intended to only be 720p, in which case it might look unusually jaggy in 1080i.

i was playing RR7 on a sdtv before me and BG got a hdtv last weekend. personally i prefer the 1080i to normal.

when first played RR7 i thought that it was an ok game but the blurring of the graphics was a shame. then we got nice tv... wow!! the difference is amazing. anyway, i reckon that it might be more the fact that DKs tv is too damn big rather than jaggy, its not bad at all on my 32" ...saying that, how do you think GT compares?

i dont think il be buying RR7, much prefer GT and F1

I think GT looks better on the HD. The jaggies aren't as noticable.

1080i. Sorry I got the sizing wrong. I just know it's a bigger tv than I have.

Your backgrounds are definitely nicer but you need to come over and see it playing at my house DK.
