I was surprised to not see Pong and/or Pac Man on that list...

Yeah, how Pong isn't on there is beyond me. It sorta started the everything, at least in terms of commerical success.

The original MGS should be in there, it had such a critical role in bringing up the stealth games of today, I guess the remake is just as good, just puts a better spin on the graphics and gives a bit of glamour to an already incredible game. Also boss fights in that game are brilliant, things like the Sniper Wolf shoot out are intense and incredible!

that was the god almighty Ye Ar Kung Fu... boy, did i love that game, and 100% yes DK.. if it wasnt for that and the game FIST (careful.. ) i doubt there would be any decent fighting games today, i think.

ok.. yeh, stupid lil game called Street fighter MAY of influenced a few people.. (ahem).. but for me FIST and Ye Ar Kung Fu rocked my world a lot!

the biggest question on everyone’s lips at the time of the speccy and C64 was.. A: why was Ye Ar Kung Fu 2 shite!!! and B: why was FIST 2 shite as well?

lol, i mean, seriously bad. tho at least FIST2 tried too hard, and thus crashed and burned.. for anyone who doesn’t remember, they tried to make an adventure beat em up (and to be honest, first of its kind.. so kudos there).

Where as Ye Ar Kung Fu 2.. its like the main programmers for the first game went on holiday and some idiots broke in to their office and made a game and released it in about three days.. There was that much thought and care gone in to it.

IK and IK+ was good too.. but i was a FIST man (careful).
