What the hell is wrong with this game? Why is it that I can't swing using the analog stick or X button? I can only swing with SixAxis, but if I press X nothing happens. The player will maybe swing once out of 10 attempts.

I like the SixAxis controls, but this is stupid. What am I doing wrong? The analog batting also doesn't work. How do I use it? I pull down on the stick and release when I want to swing right? It doesn't work. Only SixAxis does - is there something I have to disable? Cuz I sure as hell don't see it...

I dont own the PS3 version.

I have no idea whats up with the controls,but I have no issues with the game using the 360 controller when I use the swing stick.

I dont have a clue what the menu screens look like when you pause the PS3 version,but have u gone into the controller settings? you might find some sorta option there to to disable something.

The 360 version you either can select classic and swing with the A button,but you have to press it pretty hard *sometimes it has a button delay and you wont swing*

But classic is for pussies and I use the swing stick.The way you describe how to use the swing stick is the right way,I'm not sure why its not working.

Maybe it's a bluetooth controller issue *shrug*

But yeah, I agree with Barrett, The Show 07 should be way better. The 2k baseball games have sucked the last couple years.

Gameplay wise Show last year was awesome and this year I have heard good things aswell.Show does play a better game of baseball than 2k7,but 2k7 craps all over the turd that was called 2k6.

I plan on picking up Show for PS3 in April,but from early screens the game looks like a high res port and that saddens the graphics whore in me a little.

Aslong as the awesome gameplay hasnt been messed up then Show of course is the way to go if you can get past graphics.

Yeah, I've seen. I hope that it being on PS3 will help the framerate issues.

Before MLB The Show 07 was revealed on PS3, I figured either two things would happen:
-The game would be very good graphically, but miss several gameplay modes (like the developers other game, NBA 07 on PS3).
-The game would be more of a high res PS2 game, but will have all the modes.

Due to being their first baseball game on PS3, I expected one of the two sacrifices to be made. To an extent (which could have been bad, could have been good), I somewhat wished they didn't worry much about a PS2 version and really pushed the PS3 version (If Sony were to have the most amazing baseball simulation on their platform, with next generation graphics, that could really help PS3 sales. And then release a PS2 version later on). Next year, I expect the game to be built on a next generation engine at least.
