Anyway, I read through a handful of the reviews and almost all of them address the same problems of repetition/hackneyed storyline/"mindset" of a sequel etc., so clearly this isn't the great game most people were expecting. That said, I'll play it via Gamefly at some point later in the month to see if its worth keeping.

i believe that its a set of three games, going in to the future/past like this one. so i think theres time to improve if indeed it needs it.

i trade a lot of games these days, i only keep what i consider 'worth keeping'... so even though i have had most of the games out in the UK at somepoint.. in my collection now (at bare minimum) is Oblivion, Motorstorm, RFOM and CoD4. so there is room for a free romp assassin game in there, whether or not i'll keep it depends on how well i click with it.

its like i could (and have) played GTA for weeks on end not doing a single mission, just exploring and losing myself in the city. from what i have read, AC could be something like that, at least enough to keep me occupied for a bit anyhow.

its obviously not as great as i once thought it might be, but then again, it might be still very good.

dont forget, IGN also gave Heavenly Sword a 7.. a 7! i mean, dear god! where do they find their reviewers?
..and then you have sites like Gamespot (who are usualy harsh imo), giving it a 9/10.. i just cant keep up!!

so anyway, IF this game is actually better than HS, i'll be v.happy. i dont think it could be, HS was incredible (for me).

I don't care if they gave it 7.5, these are the same idiots the gave mario galaxy 9.7 after saying that theres a couple of things wrong with it, IGN can suck my balls lol.

IGN has always been meh for me too.

I'll definately be picking this up but it will have to wait until after christmas as I am too into CoD 4 at the minute and I am not missing out on Uncharted come release.

these reviews, the way gamespot talk about it(I hate gamespot aswell by the way) its like yeah the missions are a bit samey after a while but the differences come from how you choose to aproach them, if you have guards chasing you one mission you may chosse to stand and fight the next you might run, lead guards onto a roof then throw them off, maybe its down to the player to make the differences and the missions are there to just set things up, thats how GS sort of make it sound to me and it sounds pretty good. I dunno, just thinking out loud lol

It got perfect score here in Norway a 6 of 6 from the most reliable sources up here. on another site it got 9 of 10, so I might be getting this title.

just read 1-up's review.. erm, they seem bitter about Ubisoft rather than the game, lol.. a review writen by a 12 year old me thinks?

I dont have a problem them scoring this a 7.6/10, as it may well be a 7.6 kinda game, but its just the rants this guy goes in to, its almost personal and he doesnt really tell you much about the game apart from spoiling whatever storyline Ubisoft have kept semi quiet about.

its no secret what the games about but 1-up seem to think it was... lol, quite strange.

basically, three 360 reviews, the original a AU and a UK effort, lol... its like they all see something different in the game, because the scores are very different from each other.

maybe this says a lot? maybe it really says that this game isnt for everyone, and should be appreciated by those who do?
