i know what you mean.... i just got a feeling that the way he reacted towards other folk was almost like it was done one purpose.. if not, i agree.. it really should be sorted.

but the impression i got when i first watched it was that our hero wasnt 'really' meant to be there. thus acting and reacting the way he did. kinda weirded out and lost but with a goal in mind.

i think i give far too much kudos for things that really dont deserve it.. so youre probably right and its probably not as good as i think it is, haha..

ok.. i know its out in the States (any of you brought it yet??)

but for all you guys who havent, and for all of us who have been watching the 360 screen shots and wondering if it will be the same on the ps3, look no further.
these btw apparently look exactly the same as the 360 screens, but of course that doesnt stop fanboys from both camps dawn raiding each others posts on other forums.


ps.. these were taken from a camera at the screen, so if they look this good here, i cant wait to see it on my telly in HD

from the reviews ive seen so far, this is not the dumb AI that 'apparently' was witnessed at the latest games show. both the Xbox and PS3 have some very high scores indeed.
they say this is a very deep, unlinear free roaming game, sounds fantastic.

i wonder if Sunny still regards this as a skip?

SMG could be Super Mario Galaxy, Sarah Michelle Gellar or perhaps a submachinegun.

A look at reviews on something like metacritic shows some variety to the opinions for this game, ranging from 'above average with some big problems' to 'flawless masterpiece'. The Eurogamer review (7 out of 10) made a good case for the score they gave it and saying ultimately that for 360 owners it doesn't succeed in its concept as well as Crackdown. It's certainly still a game I'm interested in but it's entirely possible that the game has been hyped up to make it seem to be more than it is.

yeh, its all subjective really... i think that the game looks amazing, but that doesnt mean it is.

the good thing about getting these 'blockbuster' games 4 days later in the UK, is that the reviews for these are already out in the states!!

i know i will be watching closely, but its the smaller sites with nothing to prove are the ones i follow. sites like IGN are usually biased in some way and are very lazy when writing reviews.

to be honest, even if this turns out to be a flawed game, i know i will probably buy it. im a real sucka for free roam, and im nosey.. two things this game builds on, lol.

well, ive read IGNS review... and on one hand they love it, and on the other the hate it. a 7.5 for PS3 and 7.7 for 360 (surprise surprise for the Bill Gates underpants sniffing site). again they cut and paste their review and add a couple of bits.. yet taking Gametrailers review, it has none of these problems that IGN suggests. though 1-UP agrees with IGN and Gameinformer and Gamepro agree with Gametrailers..aaarrrgh!

ahh bugger it, ive brought real turkeys in my time, why stop here..
