great review AK, certainly sounds amazing, and am considering picking this up come the 23rd.. and if not, it will be the next game i do pick up!

Didn’t like Evo, I was a pure VF4 fan, through and through. in fact I still have my JP copy. It seems that it lost its soul when Evo happened. I brought the game thinking cool, they have updated the graphics but they took away the very thing I brought VF4 for.. and that was the AI.. I wanted to train, I wanted to put my fighter against my mates fighters etc etc..

Now I know that VF5 hasn’t got the AI creation ( ) but if you know what I mean about VF4 losing its soul in EVO, then you can see where im going with this.

Has VF5 got soul?



Also.. I know there’s no online, but like Tekken DR, is there anyway of downloading new AI opponents from the Internet?

and lastly... the customisation of the characters…. How much can you change them? Like the old guy.. you know the drunken master, how much can you change his appearance say? Can you change it to the point that if you saw the character, you would only know who it was because of their stance? or do they just look like the character with glasses on or a hat?

No you cant download new ai opponents off the net.

Yes you can change the characters appearance to the point where it looks like a totally different fighter you're using.

And Lazer VF5 is awesome,if you like fighting games you owe it to yourself to atleast try it out.

Why are the reveiws on PSXE so good? I can read one on gamespot and still not know a damm thing about the game cos their too busy trying to sound clever,I can't find fault with PSXE, great job fellas.

out of that and motorstorm ... im thinking VF5. ive gone off Tekken a little. and to be honest even VF games get on my nerves a bit with the amount of wrestlers they have (lol.. im a purist, what can i say!??!).

anyway, from reading your review, i think that as long as i kick their arse with someone Chinese.. im happy
