I don't understand why they haven't done that yet. My Halo 2 clan was SOOOO much better because of some Aussie and Brit members, and it definitely brought a lot more depth, outside the game, to the experience.

I actually felt bad for the overseas players who had TERRIBLE latency on Halo 2. They were always at a disadvantage because the host was almost always in North America.

Yeah, but in general, the British/Australians/French people that I've played with were all terrible...

Not that they're bad at Halo... they just have an extra half-second of latency and get a terrible rap for it. I'm sure Kovax was just a kickass player (or you were playing a custom game, and he didn't have to deal with an overseas host).

I look forward to global matches at some point. That is something I love with the 360. As for AK's post about problems with Halo you are spot on. I gave up after 2 attempts to play.

I can't wait until our standard download speeds are in the 10mb area rather than 1-2.
