GTA IV ..ahem, the truth! ..or lies.

(in a sesame street tune…) ‘One of these shots doesn’t belong with the others ..One is real, and the others are fakes’.. lol can you guess which?

So, what is truth and what are lies? So far everything we know about GTA IV is a lie. Shame, but that’s always the way.. And until we get closer to the release date, then its pure speculation.

Some are saying London, some are saying its based in Russia and Italy in the 90’s just like GTAIII.. some even say NY… but I doubt this the most. I’m thinking Europe..ish.

So anyway, does anyone know anything about it? Got any screen shots up your sleeve?

Post them you scoundrels! Lol.

1. For some reason i think all of these are photoshopped.
2. Please learn roman numerals, not trying to be a ****, but you keep on saying GTA VI(6)...i think you mean GTA IV(4).
I = 1
II = 2
III = 3
IV = 4
V = 5
VI = 6...
...etc...
3. I think these photos are fake because they don't look like PS3 graphics they look a lot worse.

Thompson's campaign seems to be solely focused on the Xbox 360 release of the game, making no mention of the PS3 version at all.

On the February 19, 2007, Thompson claimed he had received multiple death threats sent to his house from angry Xbox 360 owners. [11]

sorry, i was quite drunk last night.. could you change my topic header to say GTA IV? and you telling me about Roman nos.. lol, i work with Roman numerals every day, THATS the sad sad thing about all of this! i was just pissed and typing like one of those monkeys that did the whole Chumbawumba thing.

so anyway, the 4th picture is the only real pic.. all the others are fakes. lol.. although pic no.2 would be cool.

lol, nutters.. seriously! i do feel sorry for old Gate$, but really none of these games shoud be sold to minors.. full stop. should go without saying really.

depends what you want out of GTA really.

have you played Vice City? if not then you should play that, if you have then yeah, sure.. play VCS..

is it cooler than SA? Hmmmm..... when i first played SA, i would say that Vice city was better, but after playing SA for ages, then stop playing it.. then playing it again after VCS.. i would say that actually SA is better than VC/VCS.

but its only better now. back when it first came out, VC was still king.

and if i had to say my fav GTA, it wold be GTA: VC not GTA: VCS/SA/III

..did that make sense?

Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA IV) is the upcoming ninth installment of the Grand Theft Auto video game franchise, announced for release by Rockstar games on October 16. 2007 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. It has been confirmed that GTA IV will run on the RAGE game engine, the same engine that powered Roackstar game spresents table tennis. The game is being written by Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser. According to Janco Partners analyst Mike Mickey, a financial consultant for Take-Two Interactive Software, around 150 developers are working on Grand Theft Auto IV. This is compared to about 130 non-voice actors and non-motion-capture actors listed in the credits for 2002's Grand Theft Auto Vice City. Lazlow Jones, who has played the voice of the radio presenter 'Lazlow' in Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City, is labeled as part of the cast for the game. Also listed as part of the GTA IV cast is Navid Khonsari, has done voice work previously for Max Payne 2 and the GTA series

During Microsoft's 2006 E3 press conference on May 9, it was announced that Grand Theft Auto IV would be available for the Xbox 360 and that Rockstar will offer exclusive episodic content via Xbox live for the Xbox 360 version. This had been confirmed by Rockstar, announcing two extra, exclusive episodes. After the press conference, Rockstar Games' parent company, Take Two Interactive posted a press release announcing Grand Theft Auto IV will be released simultaneously for the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms.
Peter Moore, head of Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business division announced that Rockstar Games is working on two downloadable packs for GTA IV exclusively on the 360, which will probably be available within months of the game's release date. Moore described the downloads as "epic episode packs," and not just an extra car or character. A press release during the conference said that the packs would add "hours of entirely new gameplay" to the game. There have been no details on pricing of the downloads revealed. The nature of exclusivity on these episodes is still in vague detail.
The PlayStation 3 version will also include its own exclusive episodes and unlockable content
