Default Rumor? Please clarify

By word of mouth from a 360 owning friend, XBox 360 is getting Guitar Hero II Is this our (his) dream come true? Or just a rumor? Is it Guitar Hero II or an entireley new game, suited just for the 360? He says April 2007, if it really is that soon I would imagine I would have heard about it by now. Any clarification would be appreciated

This has been known for quite some time. Yes, Guitar Hero II is coming to the 360. Here's the track list for it-

There is a downside, however: I don't think the 360 version gets the wireless guitar. For some reason, I distinctly recall a news story about how they'll only get a wired one...pretty sure I'm right about that.

I don't remember a story on this, but cool anyways! So it's the same game thats in my PS2, but with better graphics.

And downloads..

Still, finally an Xbox game I wont suck at mwahahaha!!

You'll have to elaborate on the wireless controller bit for me though.

Edit: Seeing the image of the controller does seem familiar now that I think about it

The wireless protocol is proprietary to Microsoft and they won't license it out to third party device makers for some reason. Probably because they are evil.

Well that sucks for would-be owners. Means no cheap 3rd party wireless controlpad either then. Sneaky b*stards.

Oh, that's right, I remember now. This is one game that could really benefit from wireless, though...

I actually dont have a problem at all with wired GH controllers. I like them. I didnt much care for any of the wireless ones i've tried anyways. But the wired suits me fine.

It's a game that I think could benefit from a really good wireless controller, but honestly the wired versions have never bothered me either.
