Default Good old games that you still play..

just wondering...

im just sat here playing Soul Calibur 3, not partcually old, but utterly amazing imo.

but i was thinking, that even tho most of you own a 360 and or are getting a PS3.. what games do you STILL play from last gen or even the one before.. like I would still play worms2, from the PS1.. why not?

i know that when I get my PS3, it wont just be PS3 games because there are a lot of titles out there that are good games.. and i think that still digging out a game after four or five years to play, prooves that 'good' games still exist, rather than the games we think are good because we are blinded by the gold.

what games do you still dig out from three, four or more years ago, and what games do you mean to dig out but dont?

like I play Ico from time to time and REZ, i keep meaning to play Fantavision! lol.. but I just never get around to it.

Played Wipeout Fusion the other day, was cool.. but got bored really fast.

My only "current gen" games are on the PSP, if those even count.

I like the PS2 NFS games, and I like to dig out my Syphon Filter games occassionally. I could also see replaying Beyond Good & Evil some day.

yeh, I know what you mean... I would play Syphon Filter again, if it wasnt on a copied disk ( ).. maybe even Silent hill.. but its the same as SF.

I dont think i could ever see myself sitting down and playing FFVIII again or Vandle hearts.

Do RPG's have that much replayability? Star Ocean did... but after you beat it twice, and you then realise that you need to beat the game another 78 times in order to see all the endings, you just give up!

lol, fair enough!!!

but then even though football games do get better, they initally are the same game, unlike say GTA, where you have gone from 2D to 3D.

i dont get on with Footie games, i mean I would play that Red Card game, but only because you can thump people in it

I might put on GTA1 sometime and see what that like again....

I still play through (and most times complete) FFVII atleast once a year, and sometimes I'll play through any game in the MGS series or Sonic & Knuckles 3. There some of the few games that I love to play every now and again if I get the chance

Nope, don't think they will. I believe it's a direct port to the PSP, only with the added cut-scenes and perhaps slightly revamped visuals. It almost makes me want to get a PSP (along with the announcement of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and a possible God of War), but then again, I HAVE a mint-condition FFT, which I can play on my TV and not on a tiny screen.

Still..........it's awfully tempting.
